June 2, Portage Divine Savior Healthcare Run/Walk The family-friendly Run/Walk offers 5K and 1-mile courses. Race begins at 09:00 AM. All runners will receive a timing chip which must be picked up on race morning, so please plan accordingly. Race day registration will be available from 7:30 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. T-shirts cannot be guaranteed for race day registrants.
June 2, Portage Downtown Walking Tour Spend the morning learning about Historic Downtown Portage. The guided tour starts at the Portage Area Chamber of Commerce office at 10am every OTHER Saturday this summer.

Jun 8 – 9, Portage Art that Blooms 2012 The Drury Gallery will be transformed into a fantasy land for flower lovers with our 4th annual Art that Blooms exhibit featuring an array of art by area artists who are paired with fresh floral arrangements inspired by the artwork and created by area floral artists. In addition we will again have poems and/or reflections inspired by the art which are written by area writers. We are inviting the writers to read their work for us in the Zona Gale Theatre. Race your kayak in a 2K loop race from Drinker's Landing to Romance Cliff Beach and back, or watch hundreds of kayaks race up and down the river from the river front or from a comfortable indoor viewing area at the Mt. Olympus Santorini Village (formerly RiverWalk Hotel). Race your body in a 5K run from Drinker's Landing through Camp Wawbeek. Race your bike in a 10K loop from Drinker's Landing through the beautiful rural landscapes of Dells Country. Or enter the Dells Riverfest Triathlon and do all three. Kayak/Bike/Walking Tours If relaxing is more your style than racing, we invite you to take a kayak, bike or walking tour instead. You can take a guided kayak tour around Blackhawk Island, or walk or bike along the race courses in self-guided tours through the best of Dells Country. JUN 30, PORTAGE Concert in the Park & Independence Day Celebration Miss America is coming to Portage during our Independence Day Celebration! She will be part of the parade that will take place in Historic Downtown at 4pm. The Concert in the Park follows beginning at 6:30pm in which the Chamber of Commerce brings the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra to play at Pauquette Park. That evening at dusk we will have a breathtaking display of fireworks set off over the Wisconsin River. Members of the UW Marching Band will perform in the parade and at the park.
