AUG 11, Portage Kiwanis Bike to Read - Bike Ride Fundraiser Please join the Portage Kiwanis Club on August 11, 2012 in their Metric Century "Ride to Read" fundraiser pedaling through scenic Amish country with 4 routes available. The proceeds of this fundraiser will be used to purchase books for KIDS. Pre-Registration $20. After Aug. 4, 2012 and the day of the ride $25. Includes refreshment stops in route, detailed route map, complimentary gift and SAG wagon if needed. All proceeds will be used to purchase and distribute children’s books.Routes on low traffic roads through Columbia, Marquette and Green Lake Counties. Four route options of 15, 30, 45 and 62 miles (metric century) travel through scenic and historic Amish countryside. Start location at Beautiful Riverside Park – 300 East Wisconsin St. Portage.
